Austin >Perfection Tattoo
I got my first ever tattoo here, with Carlos -- a little tiny star on the back of my neck. Granted, it wasn't that challenging, but Carlos bent over backwards to make sure I was comfortable, and even let me feel the little needle (inkless) on my skin to make sure I could handle the pain. Service with a smile.
Took my money. I got a tattoo with JAY and it looked good, so I put down a deposite for the next one. As the tattoo healed I started to notice the lines were crooked and I was not happy with the work. I called jay to get my deposit back because I had found another artist to continue with. JAY would not give me my money back. He was rude and got upset because I crushed his ego when I told him I was goin to get tattooed from someone else. He took $50 dollars from me and Im not happy about this shop.
Providing fast, classic ink, this tattoo shop lives up to its name..
Perfection Tattoo has been inking Austin since 1977. Some flash adorns the walls but Trevino created most of these sheets. Thick photo albums allow customers to view the two artists' work in the flesh. The majority of the work is custom, with artists specialize in ancient Japanese-style and classic American tattoos. Customers can count on privacy and low browsing traffic, as most of the work is done in private rooms.
Fantastic tattoo and great service. Carlos squeezed me in at the last minute since I was only going to be in town for a short amount of time and I'm thrilled he did. He took my idea and gave me an amazing fleur de lys tattoo that exceeded my expectations. The place is nice, clean, and easy to find; and the people know what they're talking about. I would absolutely recommend Perfection and anyone who works there.
Jason and Chris are great.... Jason has done a couple pieces on my arms and legs and all have turned out "perfect"..I had an idea and he worked with it and his end work was even better than what I had at 1st..Both him and Chris are unique artists and I recommend them both 110%....Esp considering Dave Lum did my 1st work and, if my memory is correct, kind of helped Chris along during his "internship"...Outstanding folks as well as being patient and understanding...Thanx guys !!! Marty
I highly recommend Jason Brooks!.
Jason Brooks is one of the most talented tattoo artists I have had the pleasure to ink me.
He is precise, gentle, knowledgeable, and incredibly artistic. If you are someone that is interested in getting some japanese art/design for your tattoo...that is his specialty. But he is also very skilled at flash/old school/tribal...what have you.
