A palace compared to most hotels. My wife and I always stay here when in Austin. The rooms are clean and comfortable. On the last trip I slept like a log and there was a football game that weekend. And the concierge was very helpful.

THE RUDEST STAFF EVER. Charming enough, but nothing super fancy, this hotel is great for a quick romantic getaway. If it weren't for the staff being VERY RUDE, I would have recommended this place. When we checked in, we were offered the "Romance Package" upgrade, which included breakfast for two, and champagne with chocolate covered strawberries brought to the room, which we bought. The next morning we went to get the breakfast vouchers, but they had no record of us purchasing the package, and the girl at the counter (after rolling her eyes at me) told me it was too late to purchase it. Anyway, the manager came, was also rude and we figured it out. We had to call the desk three times before the champagne and strawberries were delivered. At checkout they charged us for TWO romance packages!!! They need a few courses on customer service and maybe even some new staff!

Like Good Cookies. I have stayed at this hotel several times and always had a great experience. The staff is curteous and very friendly. The bar is alot of fun, there are always interesting and attractive people there. The valet staff is great and helpful in avoiding a sometimes full parking lot. The decor is charming and the high speed internet connection is a huge benefit.
