Great Alterations! NEVER had a bad experience here.. I went to Nelda's because another tailor didn't make the correct alterations on my wedding dress. I went to Nelda's about a week before my wedding in a panic because the other tailor put holes in my dress! I was really upset, and Nelda's helped me so much. They did the alterations I wanted, and fixed what the other person messed up. I was extremely happy with the work they did, and very fast.

Since then, I've taken pants to have hemmed and they do a wonderful job on everything. I will keep going!

They butchered my clothes. I made the mistake of taking 6 outfits to Nelda's at Airport the first time based on reviews I read online. The work they did was dispicable. They distroyed my Dries Van Noten dress I had been holding on for a while hoping for a good tailor. Not only that, I also took them a strapless high end cocktail dress which came back with pleates all accross the bust where it used to lay flat because they were too imcompetent or lazy to actually take it in at the seams. Please trust me when I say unless you paid $1.00 for your stuff and they are altering it for free stay away from Nelda's. They had me in tears!!! I don't even know if my clothes can ever be fixed. You had to be incredibly mean or imcompetent to do that to somebody's property.

Great place for wedding dress alterations!. Nelda's altered my wedding dress and I am so pleased with it! The dress was ready two weeks after I dropped it off and she worked with me for a while. You have to have an appointment usually, but I didn't think of that and she fit me in anyways. I felt like her prices were reasonable and appreciated her providing the total up front and sticking to it. I am a bride who doesn't live in Austin and she was flexible with scheduling my appointments for when I was in town. I would definitely go back to this place and reccomend anyone handing over their wedding dress (even though that's a scary thought!). Great job done for sure!

Nelda's tailors. Nelda's does very good work. they are more expensive than most, but usually worth it. not always on time.
