view & uploadWorst employees. But there is one poor server who tries. I was sick of their chicken, so I wanted sweet & sour tofu instead of sweet & sour chicken. First they told me no, but I explained that all they have to do is substitute the chicken for the tofu, that's it, no special sauce or prep, after some talking the server finally brings me a dish of just tofu wtih sweet & sour sauce, this does not a lunch make. So she (or he, can't really tell) takes it back and they add the right veggies to it. Finally I can eat. I figured I could still order it as an 'Express Lunch' but no, they decided to charge me for dinner prices. Plus, to make it worse, my friend and I each wanted a side of stirfry greenbeans. After we order, and waited for nearly half an hour, we were told they were out of greenbeans and they don't usually have them anymore. Then why are they still on the menu and there is no notice up at the register where they have a handy whiteboard where they post the specials? The casheir was rude & confrontational at every request no matter how simple. I will NOT be returning. After all this trouble, having to wait 30 minutes for food that wasn't coming, having to explain a very simple dish, being told no several times, I still got charged a 'dinner price' for lunch portions.
Best POW 4 ur buk, Best Chinese Food in Austin,NYC,Vegas,La. This is My mothers restaurant, and I know the place better then anyone really, and I can def judge this place b.c. I have lived in LA, Vegas, NYC, sum of the top place in the world supposedly, (still trying to find out what the fuss is about the so called ''bigger citys''.) I have tried all the Chinese food, in LA, and Vegas, and NYC, and I can say my mothers is the best, and I am not just saying this b.c. my mother owns the place b.c. I moved away for a reasons, but just judging my mothers food, if I was a regular customer coming in and I didn't know anyone, I know my mothers place is the best. Her restaurant will be flexible if you want to remix your order or get half and half, and she will also switch around the prices, if your make a weird order, and her food is good, and she delivery's pretty much all over Austin Tx. and sometimes if the order is big enough or you pay enough to other city's. Maybe it's just there are a lot of mean people in most China towns, but my mothers place has the best Chinese food I have ever had in the USA. I think I might have confused people but I hope I didn't plus they are friendly to there customers! Unlike alot of Chinese place in NYC where I am now, which makes me want to dine in and cook for my self, out of defense to the mean Chinese people @ the restaurants in NYC, or how much we do not get in NYC compared to ATX, or what I am use to getting in ATX, example, in ATX, (Austin Tx) if you order a burrito, or burger @ a restaurant, fast food or not, you automatically get pickles, mayo, lettuces, onions, etc. on the burger, or burrito, you automatically get salsa, sour cream, etc. on the burrito, in NYC and most LA you do not, so you do not get the sides, and if you ask for the sides they charge you more, not the mention whatever you ordered is all ready pretty small usually. O-well I guess everybody's feeling the so all depression, and everybody needs to make money. I don't care that much though b.c. I will just DIY, Do it myself eat in time. It's actually better that way for me personally. Damn people in ATX have it good compared to the rest of the USA I have visited, I would come back, but I don't like the HEAT! I am more of a snow person, I am in NYC and it is to hot! AAHHH!! I am thinking of moving somewhere it is always has a chill, maybe Main, or higher, so I will never have a stroke or something! okay exaggerating on that one, but I might faint from the heat, u get the point I like the cold weather. The only real con I can think of that you (customer who doesn't understand whats going on)might think is a con, is when it gets really busy, and something messes up, you might hear Chinese people screaming @ each other in the back ground, lol.... I always kinda though it was funny, except when it happens to me. So don't worry, they usually are not mad @ the customers they are usually just yelling @ each other. Except if a customer cusses at them then my family usually just hangs up the phone. Also there are people who speak Spanish, English, and Mandarin there, they take credit card. open 11am-11pm, buffet 11am-2pm Mon-Friday. yep I got that place tattooed to my brain! pretty much the details anyway.
