Although I haven't yet gone to work for this agency, I still must recommend it highly. When I first applied well over a year ago, and then began calling each day, my 'contact' was ALWAYS back on the phone that very same day returning my call. So many agencies don't do that. Not only that but she went out of her way to try to find me jobs that were on my side of town, which at the time, unfortunately, was far north and thus, there were very few assignments available in the salary range that I was requesting. But now I am on the south side so I am excited to say that I will be going back there tomorrow and I know that I will get the same caring, consistent treatment that I did while I was in contact with this agency before.
Pros: Excellent customer service and very caring staff
Cons: The only con I can see is that it would be nice if they had more jobs in the north

I think the complainer doesn't understand the nature of being a temp. Like everything, there are pros & cons. Whiners just concentrate on the cons and are almost always losers who blame all of their problems on others. To me, the pro side includes, but is not limited to, getting paid in-between more permanent situations, having the freedom to request a new assignment if you don't like the current one, less pressure and, most importantly, getting your foot in the door. I got my first (and only) assignment from Peak two days after my interview and tests. I proved my worth to that Division Director & was hired six months later. The people at Peak Performers were always very professional, helpful, courteous & friendly to me. They WANTED me to do well so they could have another success story. Also, keep in mind when reading these reviews that usually only the complainers post. You can have 999 happy clients out of 1,000, but the happy 999 have no ax to grind, so they don't post. I'm trying to offset that some right now. Also, this is only one side of the story. I'll wager a month's pay that the one who wrote the bad review is one of those losers who blames everyone else. I've worked for the state for 12 years now. (Peak placed me four years ago after I had been self-employed for about eight months.) So, to the person who complained about Peak not wanting you to be efficient & finish the job early. It's NOT Peak that wants you to take a long time to get something done. It's the hiring manager at the agency. He or she wants to pad the budget by paying you longer so they can get the same or more money next year. Duh! Peak got me in the door, and I made it work to my advantage. You can do the same! BTW, guys, my Supervisor at Peak (Mai), is a gorgeous, sweet, friendly, petite, Asian lady. Unfortunately, she's also married. Figures, huh? Oh, well, she's very pleasant to be around. Plus, Sugars is right next door so u can go see some bad girls!
