I liked the initial customer service I received when I checked in. A nice young lady that said she was not from around here welcomed me to Orangewood Suites. I was impressed with the service and friendly atmosphere. I wish the rest of my review was just as positive.

They have a fairly decent continental breakfast but nothing to write home about. its basic stuff. cheap cereal, donuts, bagels, muffins, juice, coffee, milk, maybe a banana and apple or 2. it wasnt all that good but its really nice to have the option. i just packed up this little bag with donuts and bagels and hit the road. filled up my thermos with juice too. hey, one for the road.

I've stayed here multiple times (Halloween & Spring Break). This place is the best bang for your buck place. You cannot come here expecting a 3 star hotel. Honestly, this is a gem. ALWAYS has reasonable price. No hassle. Just check in and go to your room.

Their Continental Breakfast was a Deluxe and the room was nice and clean and the front desk staff were so friendly.

I thought the rooms were very amazing, it felt like a mini apartment with a seating area, and the accomodations of an iron, refigerator, microwave, and the bed, with 6 pillows , OMG, I have never slept so good, and the bed was very comfortable and very warm.

This was a great place to stay! Clean, quiet, and the room was spacious and wonderfully decorated. Plenty of pillows, plenty of towels, and the bed was super comfortable!

I have stayed at this facility twice, in September, 2007, and October, 2007. I am getting ready to make my reservation for November. These are all business trips. Initially I was concerned about the inn because of other reviews, but I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality and friendliness. No, it is not a 5 Star hotel, but the price was excellent, the room was clean, the breakfast was good, the staff was very friendly, and I felt safe (important for a woman traveling alone.)

Remember, this is a very small town. I have not stayed at the other two motels in town because this one meets all my needs and you can't beat the price! So, if you are looking for luxury, keep on going down the road to Austin or Bastrop. As far as Giddings is concerned....the Ramada is more than adequate.
