BEWARE OF THE SERVICE DEPT. DO NOT TAKE YOUR BIKE TO THE SERVICE DEPT UNLESS YOU DO NOT WANT TO RIDE--in june of 2011 i had a wreck on my bike , only damage was scratches and small dent in fuel tank--no frame or wheel damage , the bike could be driven--i left the bike there so they could order parts and fix the bike when parts came in...FIRST they would not order parts for the bike until i pay for the parts even though the bike was staying there and worth 3x as much as the parts that was needed. The bike was finished on august 31 2011 3 months later but would not release the bike to me because they had sent a supplement for $800.00 to my insurance co on the 31 of aug, i even wrote them a check for over $2900.00 that same day.I had to wait 2 extra days so the insurance co fax a copy of the check to them when i got my bike back there was things that was missing. When i call to check on my bike NOBODY knew what was going on in the shop and the service manager does not want to talk to anybody---the sales dept are good and i have bought 4 bikes from them and WAS looking for another one for my wife but i will NEVER spend another dime at this dealership as long as the service dept keeps running the same way

Worst HD dealership in Central Texas. Don't patronize this business. Seriously, just don't. After buying two motorcycles from them and using their service department many times, I finally realized I was always either mildly disappointed with the way I was treated or, at worst, felt like they had taken advantage of me. One day I just decided no more, like someone who has been making excuses for an abusive partner and finally has a moment of clarity and ends the relationship.

WORST DEALERSHIP ON EARTH!. Took my bike for remap, was told one price twice. Work done was give a $100 more charge. Told the price I was given was just labor. They found something wrong with my bike while doing the work. I had to cordinate and work the warranty company to get the work done. Then I got yelled at by their CSM when I asked why I was doing their job.

Wrote a letter to Corp, the owner of CTH calls me. Defends his employees like a protective mother. Never applogies, or anything.

PROCEEDS to tell me that I have a twisted perception on reality and as long as I agreed to never step foot in his store we're on the same page.

Is THIS the customer service you want to pay for?

Central Tx HD in Round Rock. NEVER, GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!! I recently purchased a pre-owned soft-tail from a private owner and took it into this dealership to have all the fluids changed. This is my first bike and as soon as they saw that I wasn't exactly "knowledgeable" they tried to take me to the bank. Sales guy brought out the service manager "Joe" and he tried to upsell me on many different things. The most outlandish was that my rear tire had "dry-rot" and that if I didn't replace it, it could be deadly. I told him I agreed that a bad tire would be very dangerous but that this tire is brand new and still has the tabs on the tire. No dry rot whatsoever. I had to repeatedly re-iterate that all I wanted was an oil change and a new battery. They quoted me 200 bucks on the fluid change and 135 on the battery. I know I can get the battery for 85 bucks or so but wanted to ride that night so told them to go ahead. When I came in to pick up the bike, I was shocked when the sales guy told me the bill was just shy of 600 bucks!!!!! 200 fluid change, 140 for the battery, 100 bucks for installation and another 150 or so because they had to test the the "system" to ensure there was no drain on the battery. First of all the battery installation is extremely simple and so is testing the system. Secondly, I was never quoted these "extra" charges, nor did I authorize them. After a long intense discussion and pinning them down on these issues, I settled for 400 bucks even because I was fed up and told them it was a shame because I couldn't trust them to ever bring it back without trying to rape and upsell me. They didn't seem to mind. Acted as though it was a normal issue they deal with it and I'm sure it is. AFTER RIDING THAT NIGHT, I PARKED THE BIKE AND FOUND OIL ALL OVER THE FRAME AND REAR TIRE. So I called a friend over and we found the oil plug was not even hand tight! Oil leaked from the bike and we found the derby cover to be leaking oil SEVERELY. The original gasket for the derby cover was RE-USED!!! Service department refuses to let me speak with "Joe" the manager but gave me his phone number. Been calling him about once and hour for two days, his voice mail box is full and left my info with the service dept for a call back from him. STILL NO CALL, IT'S BEEN A WEEK. My bike engine and primary could have easily been RUINED! And could still be damaged. THE ONLY THING I CAN SAY IS THIS PLACE IS THAT THEY ARE WAY OF COARSE AND ITS VERY CLEAR THAT THE SERVICE MANAGER IS THE LEADER OF THE PACK AND IS ULTIMATELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE MESS THEY HAVE THERE. The parts department however, seems very helpful.

Austin Location- awesome service. My girlfriend and I went into the Austin location of CTHD looking to purchase her first bike. We found a 95 Honda Shadow. Got a good deal on it. Ran into a slight issue- she did not have a motorcycle license yet and I did not have a valid Texas motorcycle license. The guys at CTHD agreed to deliver the bike to my house and I live in Manor. I said that was awesome, but I was about to be going on vacation the next day. They agreed to keep the bike there and deliver it when I got back. The bike sat for about a month before my girlfriend was able to ride it. Once she did- we noticed that the speedometer didn't work. Then on the way home from a ride, the key fell out. We called CTHD the next day- and they agreed to come pick up the bike and fix all of it for free. I bought a used bike, had it for at least a month- they had no reason to help, especially for no cost. But they came out to my house in Manor, loaded my bike into a trailer and fixed it for free. I was pleasantly surprised.

A few months latter I got a mostly junk Yamaha from a person privately. I did not want to keep it since it had so many issues (including having no brakes). I took it up to CTHD. They looked it over and offered me over what it was worth on it. Then they stayed an hour past close so I could run home and get proof of employment to finish the paper work for a new used bike. I ended up riding out of there on an 01 Yamaha V-Star that I got an awesome deal for. The next day, the bike wouldn't start. I called up CTHD and they sent a mechanic out to my house with a new battery and replaced it in my driveway for no cost.

I've had nothing but awesome experiences with the Austin local of CTHD and recommend people there all the time.
