Old-fashioned motel accommodations in a quiet enclave.. In Short
Although it is situated just off busy I-35, this property is somewhat peaceful, thanks to its thick grove of giant live oak trees. Guests sit on the porch swing outside the motel lobby and gaze at the birdhouses in the trees. This one-story brick building houses about two dozen rooms, each with cable TV. Exterior corridors are lined with artificial turf, but a porch light outside each turquoise-tinted door gives the motel a homey feeling.
