Best hair stylist in town. I've gone to many of the fancy salons in Austin, such as Avant, but was never satisfied with the quality of haircut considering the extravagant prices that they charge. My friend recommended that I try Helen at Paris. When I went there, I was a tad worried just because it's in a typical Austin strip mall and the atmosphere is not very fancy. But you should never judge a book by its cover, and I must say, Helen is absolutely wonderful. She is the best I've ever had in my life, and I have lived all over the world. I have very straight hair and stylists have always struggled in helping me find a style that works. I showed Helen a few pictures of styles that I liked, and she used her many years of experience to adapt them for my hair type. She has over 30 years of experience and to top it off, her prices are incredible. She charged me only 1/3 of what I used to pay at Avant. Now that I have moved to New York City, I have yet to find someone better than Helen, and I really miss her!
