WARNING: Food Poisoning. My son ate a coney and french fries. That night he became violently ill and had to be rushed to the hospital. It took him almost a week to fully recover. So if you don't mind being rushed to the hospital violently ill, then by all means eat here.

Founded in 1953 as a hamburger-and-root-beer stand, this nostalgic eatery is known for its intercom ordering system and roller-skating carhops. While servers rarely roller skate anymore, the famous made-to-order, all-beef burgers and thick malts are still menu favorites. Other signature items include Toaster sandwiches (made with thick Texas toast), extra-long chili and cheese hot dogs and hand-battered onion rings and tater tots. Desserts include chocolate, vanilla and strawberry shakes and fresh fruit slushes.
