So many local beers on draft and a great outdoor patio. A great spot to hang out with your friends after work. Often, they'll have a food truck outside as well.

A totally beloved Austin institution, the Draught House is a cross between a tailgate party and, as another tipster put it, a "Bavarian hoffbrauhaus and a Tudor-era British inn." Here, it is legal to drink one of 50 on-tap beers in the parking lot, it is expected that you'll eat dinner from one of the accompanying food trucks, and it is normal to encounter a line at the bar. But that's ok; the atmosphere is so boisterous that you'll toast your new line friends by the time you all get served.

The snacks aren't free. For some reason, they charge for bar snacks here. Oh, and it gets REALLY smokey. But, the beer is good and you get to mingle with an interesting group of people, so it's worth a try.

What a great place to have a Beer!. This place is just about the best place to grab a beer. They have more beer taps on the bar back then many places have in total. Whent he weather is nice be sure to try to get a parking spot in the main parking lot and bring some yard chairs. It's like a big tailgate party! Go there a few times and the wait staff will treat you right.

yetta. The Draught House is one of our favorite Austin places to frequent. When the weather is nice, there is no better place to unload your camping chair, enjoy the view, converse with friends, and savor a pint! The free pizza on Wednesdays and the free brat on Saturdays is just another reason to visit this very unique "pub"!!

Best draughthouse in austin. Great ambience. nice angl-saxon decor. great beers!! for serious beer drinkers..great variety on tap. away from the downtown bustle with parking lot. surprisingly crowded inspite of being isolated. great place to knock off a few pints.

very austin-y. this is a great place to experience what it's like to live in austin. very laid back atmosphere-- most spend there time in the parking lot enjoying the good weather. great nightly specials, and the homebrews are really excellent. try mondays for $2.75 guinness or murphy's, or thursdays for $2.25 huge house beers. awesome place...

Brats on Saturday!. Check out their website for happy hour specials - the pizza on Wed. is great and Sat. is the best - free brats! Great atmosphere b/c of the unique mix of people - couples, bikers, college kids, etc. When the weather is nice, everyone goes outside and sits in the parking lot.
