Antique store? Junk store? Out of the Past has it all, and I can't forget to mention the shelves and shelves of records and old music memorabilia. Definitely a fun place to get lost for a while.

An absolute hoarder's paradise, Out Of the Past is CRAMMED with beautiful old gems and junk alike. I love coming here with a loose mission in mind, like, "I need more picture frames" -- no matter the size, nor color. Note that the owner is a sweet lady who actually is a bit of a hoarder -- more than once I have attempted to buy a ticketed item from the shelves, only to have her look at it longingly, and murmur that it isn't for sale.
One stop shop has all you need ! They buy , sell and trade 7 days a week !.
I love digging for treasure and let me tell you , this is the place ! A small family owned shop that has survived over 10 years of business in Austin,TX alone ! Toys , music and movie collectibles , used and new furniture , silver and costume jewelry can be found in abundance ! The owner's have an unbelievable mental map of everything they own so if you do not have time to dig around feel free to simply ask them where the items you search are located and if they do not have at that moment be sure to check back with them soon , they are always bringing in new merchandise ! From full houses to individual items , they bring new stuff in everyday which is what keeps me going back ! If you do not want something , bring it in and they will buy it (for cash) or just simply trade them for something you want !
THIS STORE IS A MUST SEE ,what are you waiting for ? They have over 2000 square feet of space and not much of it is given to walk around in !
Lots of great junk. Out of the Past is packed to the ceiling with assorted STUFF. Everything is here--toys, furniture, records, posters, glassware, old soda cans, and a lot of genuinely worthless junk. You can waste a lot of days trying to explore this place, and have a lot of fun doing it. The only thing that gets to me is that there aren't any prices, and I get the feeling that the owner decides how much they will charge you based on how savvy they think you are. But I guess that's the nature of the beast.
