I was contacted by Randstad mid December and went through all their interviews and paperwork. I thought they would help me find a job.

Unfortunately, the jobs they sent me to for an interview(Yes, Interview, not even an actual assignment) were for jobs that were completely out of my experience level. It was very frustrating for me because I knew I was not what the company wanted(They want experience, not someone who's looking to try a new skill set.) I've remained in touch and would have to send an Email to my recruiter to receive an update(if you want to even call it that.) Not to mention I've been one of their candidates for months now and have only been on 3 interviews.

Stacey was really nice, and really liked me. She constantly mentioned that I was awesome, but after having such lackluster results over the past few months, I decided to look for a job on my own.

Literally after 1 week of applying and setting up interviews, I was hired for a Full Time position! I'm happy I will not have to deal with the Temporary aspect that the Randstad recruiters had always warned and informed me about. Now I have a job that's concrete and gives me peace of mind.

Randstad was a waste of time, but I appreciate their attempt to help me...

A Must to Avoid!. NEVER, repeat NEVER go to Randstad! The staff is rude and doesn't listen to you. You are often sent on assignments for which you either are not qualified for or told them you didn't want. They also lead you to believe a job is one kind or one way and it's not. They don't tend to level with you and let you believe you are going on one kind of job when they know it's different. They are the worst agency I have EVER dealt with and I would NEVER recommend them to anyone!

Atrocious. This is not an agency I can in good conscience recommend. The staff is extremely discourteous and sets one's expectations without meeting them.

A chief complaint is that the staff provides very misleading information about jobs and is very vague about specific details about the duties that the companies expect. There have also been issues of staff not leveling with applicants. Please do not, repeat, do NOT do business with Randstad!

Useless.. I had registered with their office in Austin, and in Minnesota. Never had a job with them after 3 years, they said they had something but never call. I have a good background, so it is not me.

If you want work go elsewhere. They are now down to 2 people in one small office, more like a closet. So other people must know that they are useless as well.

Good connections to Austin edu. publishers. Myself and a friend had good experiences with Randstad getting connected to test scoring for educational publishers and a temp job at Holt Rinehart and Winston. I found the staff pretty accessible and helpful, althought my temp job didn't end up lasting as long as I anticipated (due to HRW's planning, not necessarily Randstads.)

User review by cajon13. The staff does not listen to what you want in a job, they just stick you in any position they can so they can rake in money. Even when opportunities become available they do not consider their talent's desires, they simply do what is easiest for them. If you care about what you do 40 hours a week and want to have some say so in it, dont use them!!!
