Best soup i've ever had.

SF Bakery has the best soups in town. Part of my perfect day would be to go get an iced Alamamocha from Texpresso then walk across the parking lot to SF Bakery get lunch then top it off with a movie at Alamo Drafthouse

Great food, lacking in other areas

I am here right now. I enjoy being here. The atmosphere is nice and the food is good. I have had a coffee and danish and I am working. I would like to stay for lunch but I can't....again. My laptop battery is dying and the one plug on the wall has a note saying not to use it. It is great that they have wifi, but I will have to go buy lunch elsewhere since I can't recharge. Most coffee shop in Austin have wifi and most have lots of outlets available. The cost of the electricity is negligible and I would not mind paying a few bucks for it if I had to. Then again, they don't take credit cards either. So, they may not feel as though the cost is worth the benefit. Luckily, most every other business does. So, great food but not a great place for me.

local and delicious - try the pastries as well as the sandwiches

This place has the BEST pastries I have had in town. The chocolate raspberry croissant and cream cheese danish are really, really good. Their coffee is excellent too. I have been pleased by every sandwich I have ordered; they are definitely a step above ordinary deli sandwiches. I'm perplexed by the cash-only thing; I wish I could convince them to take credit cards.

• Pros: very yummy food, employees and owner are friendly and care about the place
• Cons: cash only
