Now "Kolache Creations," this is one of the sweetest little bakeries in town, run by a husband and wife with kolaches in their familial veins (and probably their intestines). Here you'll find massive kolache variety -- not just the sausage/cheese/jalapeno standby, but sweet fruit versions, like apple, blueberry, and even pineapple.

Inside this strip mall location there's a quaint, Old-World bakery feel. Although it's a small space, instead of feeling cramped, you feel transported to another era, complete with fresh-baked-dough aromas. Kolaches are pastries that came to Texas via Czech immigrants. Two dozen varieties include original Czech fillings such as poppy seed and prune, plus variations with meat, cheese and fruit.
