Good Craftsmanship, Quality Tailor. Gassane Tailors is a small place in NW Austin, that does an incredible job tailoring clothes.

I've gotten suits and shirts tailored here and everything is done with great precision and quality.

Pricing does seem to be on the high-end and I wish the tailors were a little more receptive to how the customer would define a good fit.

They tend to lean toward the traditional side of fit, while I like a very modern, very slim cut, and I always feel like I get some resistance to my requests. I'd rather not have to defend my requests every time I go in.

Best play I've found so far in Austin. I just recently got two pants hemmed at this place. Now I know this is not a complicated job, but their work was beautiful. I have never had a pair of pants hemmed this nicely. I was very pleased. I have tried other tailors in Austin, but this one beats them all. No hassle and very friendly customer service. My only complaint, if any is that it took about 3 weeks to get done, but I did not specify a time frame, I basically told them no rush.

Great Quality but slow turn around. I took a suit and two pair of pants in for alterations. The quality was great, however I had to wait 20 days to get my clothes back. Also, the prices were a little on the high side, $15 for pants and $40 for the suit.

Overall my experience was positive; after all you pay for what you get, and in this case the quality is worth the price, I just wish the turn around was quicker.

Everything I hoped for. I had two suits altered, including one after I lost 40 lbs. They did an excellent job. Everything was perfect and on-time. The service was friendly and expert.

The Best!. This small tailor is great. I have used them for 10+ years and they never let me down. The work is that of a dressmaker - not a hemming expert. The value is tremendous. A little out of the way but well worth it!
