Great Food... Horrible Service
by Lingo1981
I absolutely love Korean food, and I heard this place was great. Well the food is, but the service is absolutely horrible. I am normally a great tipper (20-25%) and I contemplated not tipping at all. I thought to myself who would get the tip anyway? We walked in and someone took our order, and we got most of our order. But if you wanted to add something or change something or ask for more water or beverage (forget about it). It is as if they go out of their way to avoid you. I walked away with a bad taste in my mouth, not because of the food but because we were treated horribly.
- Pros: Great Food (if you get it)
- Cons: Horrible Service!!!
Excellent Korean food, but don't expect much else.

Korea house is a great place to get Korean food at a reasonable price, especially the Bulgolgi or Bibimbab. The sushi is lackluster for Austin. Frequently, the sushi menu will not mention every ingredient (such as cream cheese). Also, the service ranged from decent to poor. Bottom line - Go to Korea house for Korean food not for Japanese sushi and not if poor service can seriously hamper your ability to enjoy the food.
- Pros: Korean Food
- Cons: Service / Sushi
decent place for BBQ with a beer

their food is great, even for korean-american like me food taste better than anyother korean restaurant in AUSTIN, and sushi look very fresh,
if you go there regulary the sushi chef will treat some free sashimi, and he's very nice guy.
don't expect too much staff service on busy time and closing time
- Pros: good food
- Cons: avoid closing times
