Best jeweler in Austin. Brian is spectacular! I was recommended to Brian from a friend when deciding to "upgrade" my wedding ring after 10 years. After showing him pictures of the designs I liked, he knew exactly what I wanted. The final product was way more than I hoped for or imagined. He is able to custom design at a very affordable price. Highly, highly recommend Avant Garde.

The best in the biz!. My boyfriend bought me the most beautiful Sapphire and Diamond necklace from Brian about 3 years ago and for Christmas this year he wanted to buy me the matching earrings to the necklace, but Brian no longer carried them! So my boyfriend took a picture of my necklace (without my knowledge) and took it to Brian. He custom made the matching earrings and my boyfriend was able to pick it up them up on Christmas Eve! They are gorgeous and I was so surprised! I cried. Brian is amazing and I know we will be going back again and again...maybe someday for a engagement ring...

I've found my jeweler for life!. I was referred to Brian by a coworker, and he created a necklace for my wife's birthday last Friday that she LOVED.

The piece was not an expensive one, but he and his staff treated me like I was their wealthiest customer.

Very hard to find someone with no apparent "attitude" in the jewelry world - very refreshing!

I highly recommend Brian as a jewelry designer, and have handed his business cards to several friends already.

A heart of gold !!. Brian truly has a heart of gold. I showed up at Brian's business a few days ago and brought him my engagement ring hoping to have it made into a cross pendant of some sort. My husband bought that ring from Brian and just a few short years later, I lost my husband to cancer. Anyway, Brian worked and worked with different designs before he was ready to turn it over to me saying that he knew I needed "something special". And boy did he deliver. My heart stopped when I saw his final design - it was so original and stunningly beautiful I couldn't believe it and yet I still recognized within that cross the ring my husband proposed to me with. I really feel like I heal a little bit more each time I put it on. Thanks Brian.

Wedding rings: get what you want for what you can afford.. My wife and I are unspeakably pleased with the wedding ring we designed with Brian's help. He took a great deal of time with us selecting the stone, comparing stones, and finding new stones until we were both happy with our selection. He worked on our design with us until we were all three on the same page. He never up-sold us, he never rushed us, and he delivered a ring that my wife still stares at in reverie.

Then, he worked with me to completely suprise her with the ring on a special trip. In short, he helped me lie and tell her it wasn't ready. Psyche! She was really mad at him before the trip. When she got the ring she lost her mind.

We did not spend a lot of money, not even 10K, but this ring is absolutely perfect, unique and classic. I am very proud of it, and I will definitely give Brian my business again.

Exceptional Quality Diamonds. We went to Avant-Garde multiple times, but the diamond we bought was certainly worth the wait. Brian took care in finding us the perfect diamond for our engagement ring, in terms of the characterisitcs we were lookin for and our budget. He also does incredible custom work.

Fire and Brilliance. The staff at Avant Garde are warm, helpful, and knowledgeable. The atmosphere - inviting. They took exquisite care of my cherished garnet ring, and the work done exceeded my expectations. Avant Garde is a special jeweler that deserves a visit.
