Not just a fabric store.... I have shopped at Calico for years, but never even realized that they sell furniture. I had been looking everywhere and could not find the right sofa in the fabric that I wanted. Not only did they have several styles of sofas available I was able to pick from about a thousand different fabrics to cover it!! I love love love love love my new sofa (and chair, sorry hubby)!!!! I have to say that I was very impressed with the whole process. In addition to my beautiful new furniture I was able to make coordinating pillows that look amazing! The sales staff was very friendly and helpful. They seem to be making customer service a priority. I have been a customer for years and the service has definitely gotten better than it used to be. I only wish that I had found out they sold furniture sooner.

Beautiful Drapery!. Initially I was concerned based on the other reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. I was approached moments after I walked in and really appreciated the design help that I was given. I ordered two shades for my kitchen and about 6 weeks later they installed them for me. I LOVE them! I went back to complete the rest of my windows and was told I should speak with one of their in home consultants given the extent of my project. He was fantastic! He not only helped me with my drapery, but also helped me coordinate a few furniture pieces and the bedding in my son's room (which REALLY needed updating ;-) I have since been in to Calico Corners with friends and have always been pleased with their service.

Rude and inconsiderate salespeople. I've been in the store several times and the salespeople are very rude and snotty. I stopped going there for a while but today I went back to check some fabric for curtains and was ready to buy at least a $1000 worth of fabrics for all the windows in my house. I got there 5 minutes before the store closed. The door was open so I entered. One of the salesperson proceeded to escort me to the door telling me that they were closed. I said that I just wanted to take a look at one fabric that I saw in the window. She finally let me take a look and said you have two minutes that is it. Not even two minutes went by she came and put her hand behind my back without touching me as to make me leave. I left but this is the last time that I am putting foot in that store again. I?ve never seen salespeople so rude!!!

Incredibly rude ... again and again and again. I tried to shop in this store a while back, and I couldn't even get a salesperson to look at me...much less ask if they could help me. I avoided going back in for some time, but this morning I went there in search of fabric for my first child's nursery. What a mistake! I cannot believe I ever went back. You'd think I had "check bouncer" or something written across my forehead. Again, not one salesperson paid me a bit of attention. My girlfriend finally approached the counter and said "Excuse me..." to the woman who was standing 2 feet in front of her. The woman blatently turned around and walked away! We started to leave, and then I decided to voice our complaint. I approached her and said "Excuse me.." She said "Yes?"...but without even looking at me. I told her I'd been in her store more than once and still could not get anyone to offer to help me. She continued looking down....no, not a single glance at me....and claimed "Oh, I am so sorry!" in the most unbelievable and cold manner......and STILL did not even look up at me. I just walked out. DO NOT BOTHER unless you are a glutton for abuse....or are a middle-aged wealthy woman (they seemed to get plenty of attention).
