Sun Tint was AWESOME!! It was a very friendly atmosphere. The price was very good and the work was fantastic! I would recommend them to anyone! Plus... you can even camp out in their VERY comfortable waiting area! It is like.. HOME!!!

Top Notch Service - especially post-sale. Excellent work. Maybe not the cheapest place but they do quality work. But what sets this place apart from other companies is their post-sale support. They stand by their work and will gladly fix any issues...no questions asked. Which is precisely the reason why I've used these guys for 4 different tint/clear bra projects.

Best Tint Shop in Austin.
Recommended by an enthusiast automotive forum, I stopped in without an appointment to see their work. Heather was happy to take me to the garage where they were working on high-end cars (BMW 7-series, Maserati Gran Turismo) with caution and precision, so I was sold.
Brought my car in the next day and it was done in about 3 hours. The job normally would have taken 2 hours, but they actually re-did a window after seeing dirt specks when it dried. I was glad they took that extra time to ensure a quality job.
I got Solargard 30 Ceramic on all windows except the windshield and have been really pleased at how well it reflects heat in the Texas summer. Price was totally reasonable as well. I highly recommend Sun Tint.

Worth the money. This is my second experience with this local Austin company and yet again they havn't let me down. I was able to schedule my appointment quite comfortably over phone on Friday . I arrived at the rite time on Saturday afternoon, and , front desk attendant (Believe its Heather) was able to explain clearly the different qualities and price ranges of the films they had. More over she was kind enough to give the 20$ discount , even though it was expired. So far the windows on my Mazda3 looks really nice and there no bubbles. Their work is absolutely professional . Austinites , go local !!!

All-around great, worthy of praise. I'm impressed with the quality of the tint and even moreso, the service. Everyone in the showroom was polite and helpful. Since my main concern was heat, I went with the ceramic tint. It's not cheap, but it is noticeably effective. Now I can actually touch the steering wheel when I get in the car on a scorching Texas day. I was concerned about finding a good tint place when I moved here from Wisconsin last August and read the good reviews, so I went here. I'm very glad I did. They did a good job on my wife's Corolla and my '92 Oldsmobile, even calling after a week or so to make sure I was satisfied... so I recently returned to get my "new" '04 Ram tinted. They thanked me for the repeat business and now I'm riding cooler with another ceramic tint. I recommend Sun Tint to anyone who wants a good tint job with great service.

Worst experience ever!. I have to say this is the worst customer service I've ever experienced!!! I called last week to make an appointment and said that I would be available during the weekend and on Monday. I was told by a lady called Heather that Sunday at 10am would be the best time. Then I got a call from Heather on Saturday to reschedule the appointment to 1pm on Sunday. And we even said "see you tomorrow"! When I arrived on Sunday, the door was closed! I called again on Monday and asked what happened. It was a guy who claimed to be a manager, and told me that he had no idea what happened since Heather was not in. And right now they could not propose any solution since they believe it was a miscommunication!!! I am really disappointed by their service and their way to handle problems. Won't recommend them to anyone!

Oh dear... I have to say, that is a whopper of a miscommunication and I know that can be really frustrating. Hey, life is busy and it's easy for these types of situations to occur when people are distracted. That is why we make every effort to call and confirm our appointments... especially those scheduled for Saturday. We tend to have a high demand for appointments on Saturdays and yet, that's a day when it's common for a person to make alternate plans (sleeping in, lounging at Barton Springs, hiking the greenbelt, boating on Lake Travis... ) and who can blame them?!?! We regret you weren't able to come in on Monday as was offered but rest assured, we're here to take care of all your window tint & paint protection film needs Monday thru Friday from 8am to 6pm and Saturday from 9am to 4pm... but we've never been open on Sundays. This has been our hours of operation for the last 29 years and is common knowledge to everyone who works here.
