Austin Window Fashions has helped me three times in the last two years and the experience has been perfect every time. Leslie Pas helped me design shudders in a tight area. She was able to design
the shudders on a computer in my home. I could visualize the shudders right away and have confidence in my purchase. And installed, the shudders look awesome!
Every time Leslie gave us dates and times, Austin Window Fashions came through. Leslie always met us on time, our products arrived on time or early, and the installers were always right on time. And although I don't have the installers names, every single one of them is very kind and very professional and they do a perfect job installing shades and shudders.

After recently purchasing a house, I was interested in outfitting my family room with plantation shutters. The windows in my house are quite large (48" wide), and it was hard to find a company who
would manufacture single panel shutters to fit larger windows. I soon discovered Austin Window Fashions, and decided to visit their showroom. I was greeted by Jeff Edgar who was pleasant to talk with and very knowledgeable. He explained to me how their shutters are constructed and why they were capable of manufacturing single panel shutters to accommodate my larger sized windows. As a person with an engineering background, I was impressed with their construction. He even gave us a tour of the manufacturing facility behind the showroom to show us how they were assembled and finished. Now when I look at shutters at other stores, I can clearly see what he was talking about. So far I haven't found anything built to the same quality as the shutters I have bought from them.
Jeff also scheduled an appointment to visit my house and measure my windows for me. The installers did a great job as well. The process was a breeze and the shutters look great!…

Leslie knows the products so well. She is not only very knowledgeable and professional but she gives you the best customer service (which is hard to find this days).
From the day I called Leslie while building my home from out of town, she went and measured all the windows before our first meeting since she knew I was pressed for time.
We installed : Woven blinds, Wood plantation shutters,
Nantucket window shadings and my personal favorite: Remote controlled Piroutte window shadings!
Love all the products and they give my home the look I wanted.

My husband and I chose Austin Window Fashions primarily based upon our first interaction with Jeff Edgar the day we walked into their showroom. He is professional and courteous and even took us on a
tour of their production area. We spoke with a few other companies, but no one impressed us as much as Jeff.
He is very knowledgeable about the products and was able to answer all of our questions with ease. At first, we were going to outfit just our downstairs with shutters and purchase Hunter Douglas blinds for our upstairs area. Having seen the quality and craftsmanship that goes into making the shutters, however, we knew we would soon regret not doing the entire house! It is well worth the extra cost - and that extra cost was not bad, comparitively speaking. We ended up going with both stained and paint-finished shutters. Jeff was extremely helpful in this process - he expertly measured everything and ran back and forth between our new our house in Lakeway and the store off of Burnet Road just to provide extra convenience for us! Our shutters arrived just a few days ago - the installation was smooth and the installer was extremely professional and it was obvious that he had tons of experience. The color matches for the stain and paint-grade shutters were both spot on. Honestly, we couldn't have been any more pleased with the outcome. I would definitely recommend Austin Window Fashions.
