Great Catering Experience. My company ordered the Texas Buffet Breakfast for 36 people. It included Eggs, Bacon/Sausage, Biscuits & Gravy and Hash Browns. My guys were so happy with this breakfast. The eggs were perfect, the biscuits were fluffy, sausage and bacon were cooked to perfection. Add in the awesome customer service and prompt pick up time and you have the perfect catering company! We will use these folks from now on for all of my catering needs. Thank you!!!
The North Austin Deli.
Face it, a deli doesn't last 11 years in this town if they aren't delivering the very best. Fresh, fast, fantastic and frugal. Oh, and don't overlook the deli trays available. They deliver, in all possible meanings of that phrase.. Have a group coming for a meeting? Order a deli spread and you'll be a hero! And don't forget the beverages. Kiefer's teas are great. If you want to be a hero with your office or your clients have your next gathering catered by Kiefer's. Get a good mix of sandwiches, chips, veggies, etc; but hold your meeting before you service, otherwise you might have trouble getting everyone back to the meeting.
Personally, the roast beast on whole wheat with chips and tea, but I have simple tastes. Don't miss the soups, salads, cookies, brownies, cakes, deli plates and, oh yeah, sandwiches. And by the way, allow yourself about 10 extra minutes on your first visit so you have time to read the menu.
Do yourself a favor, make a point of lunching (they do breakfast too) at Kiefer's this week. You will not be disappointed. I make a point of planning at least one day a week to be in the Kramer/Braker area around lunch to eat there.
It's a no brainer.
re
New York-style deli with more 60 sandwiches..
In Short
The food is piled high and the people behind the counter welcome patrons on a first-name basis. Local artists show their work on the walls and the music never stops playing smooth rock. Although there's an extensive health-oriented menu with low-fat and vegetarian choices, there are also heartier options like the Rueben--corned beef with sauerkraut and Swiss cheese on rye. The Leroy Brown is a gooey roast beef with sauteed onions, mushrooms and black olives.
User review by tinker73. The staff is courteous and prompt, always greeting you with a smile, especially early in the morning. Not many places in this town that do that.
