In Short
This is a charming place that diverges slightly from your classic, homey Chinese restaurant. There's an enormous television set in the east corner of the restaurant.. The large space is usually packed, yet unhurried. The hot and sour soup comes in a mammoth bowl. The prawns with special salt prove crunchy. The Chinese beef will gently dissolve in your mouth with hardly any assistance from teeth.

We had reservation and we still had to wait 30mins. Then by the time we got our food our bill came with it. Then on top of that we had 2 adults 2 child and a 5 month old and were charged gratuity. When I asked he said your baby counted. Never knew they charge per person and you have to pay for the food as well. Our overall experience as bad. It as dirty and over crowded. Half the time they don't understand what your asking for. So we only had the table for 30 mind and basically they kicked us out.....don't eat there I will never eat there!

I love this food place as a native Chinese but it's more sweet the food are sweetened but still taste like the food I had in China

Hands down best Chinese food in Austin (coming from a Chinese person!) get the sizzling bead curd and duck fried rice, you won't regret it!!

The Extras:
There's a fish tank in the middle of the restaurant stocked with invertebrates just waiting to jump into your mouth.
Know Before You Go:
A sign near where the butcher hangs out cheerfully requests that you inform the cashier if you want your chicken with the head intact.
