Guacamole was brown. The guacamole was brown, the pico was not fresh either, they were both obviously left from the prior day (I ate about 11:30 am). I ordered fajitas. The flavour was good but it was honestly the smallest serving of fajitas I had ever been served. I heard people at another nearby table also complaining about the brown guacamole so this is apparently the standard for them.

Consistently Delightful!. I've been coming here since 2004, and I've never had a bad experience! The service is always good, and the food is always tasty! La Morada is great for a quick lunch, and even better for a long enjoyable dinner! The fajitas, burritos, and tacos are delicious and one of a kind! I always bring my out of town visitors to La Morada!

Horrilbe service!!. If you're looking for something to have during lunch, skip La Morada. This is my second time during lunch, the first time middle of the week, second time on a Friday. Both times we waited at least 35 minutes before our food came out. The food is not that good to be late from lunch. Plenty of our great dining places along Parmer Lane.

It's TexMex and I love it - Best burger in town. If you are looking for interior mexican food then this may not be exactly what you are looking for. However, I love TexMex. I love interior mexican food. And, I love LaMorada! The burger here is fantastic, the queso is some of my favorite in town. I've eaten here well over a hundred times and have never had a bad meal. Enjoy!! Tim E.

Great family restaurant. The food here is consistently good, with a friendly staff and laid back atmosphere. Nothing is fancy about the establishment but I would recommend it to anyone who wants a quality meal in a family friendly setting.

Great food. Martini was really good and strong.

The queso was the best i've had and the shrimp fajitas were really good too.

Great Tex-Mex And Friendly Service. We love the great food and friendly service at La Morada. Our food is always prepared exactly like we want it and is served in generous proportions. Our son introduced us to La Morada in 1994 and now we are taking our grandchildren there!

Our favorites are the Beef Enchiladas, Beef Fajita Nachos, and, of course, the Guacamole! My husband loves the Verde Salsa they serve with the chips! Our grandchildren love the Queso, Cheese Enchiladas, Chicken Tenders, and Chicken Fried Steak!

The Wait Staff is extremely friendly; Chuck, the Owner/Manager, is extremely friendly and helpful with menu ideas; and you will enjoy the food. We don't drink, but I have heard that the drinks are great!

Awesome service and great food.. I came here for the first time a month ago and have been back twice since, this place is for sure one of the, if not the best place to go to for Tex Mex. The margaritas were great and very reasonably priced. The waitstaff was overly friendly and very welcoming. It's a great place to go to watch your favorite sports on a nice flat screen tv, without having the annoyance of a bar full of drunk people hootin and hollerin. If you live in Austin, I would recommend coming here to eat, or if you are from out of town coming to the Austin Area, this is a must!

Go anywhere but here!. La Morada is trying to be something for everyone, huge flat screen tv's, a "bar", and small seating area. There is a lack of flow and comfort to the space. The only nice thing I saw was the mural. Having enjoyed some great deals elsewhere when it comes to Mexican fare, this place scored well below my expectations. I mean come on... over 5 bucks for two tiny enchiladas (just cheese!) and the traditional sides cost you extra (rice & beans & pico...). OK, they had the chips and salsa for the table, but the salsas were so hot that they were too spicy to eat. Chile rennenos, just under 10 bucks. My husband had soup, he said they used the wrong kind of meat, or maybe a cheaper one. He was not very impressed either. The waitress seemed afraid to do her job, did I make you nervous? We are not going back, there are other true Mexican resturants with much more plate for your buck than here.
