Amazing Salon...Best EVER :). I would just like to say that I have been to many salons in my lifetime and I am also very picky when it comes to my hair. I moved to Austin from the Boston area recently and was looking for a new place to have highlights and lowlights done along with a cut. I read good things about this salon and it is very close to where I live so I decided to give it a try. BEST IDEA EVER! Lee is not only such a nice and experienced woman but her price was to die for! She was so amazing with assisting me with a beautiful natural color and gave me one of the best cuts I ever had! This salon is in a little plaza and doesn't appear to be anything special but let me just say it is VERY SPECIAL and I cannot wait to go back again for more highlights and to visit Lee. I LOVE THIS PLACE!. This is the BEST salon ever!! I was a little hesitant because she does a shampoo, cut & style for $30 and Ive never had my hair cut by an Asian lady (not to be racist..lol!). So I arrive at the salon and Lee/Li (the owner) shampoos my hair and sits me done to start cutting. The whole time she was VERY sweet & conversational. She was very gentle and thourough! She did an amazing job with my hair for only for $30!! I love this little salon-I would drive across Texas just to come see her! Thank you Lee!…

I've been getting my hair cut by the owner, Lee, for years now. I have dabbled with other hairstylist from the very pricey people in the mall to small chic places. However I always come back to Lee,
after they massacre my hair...I only have gone to other places when I didn't want to drive up north. But now I live in Kyle, and am more than willing to make the drive!

excellent haircuts since 1996. This little salon doesn't look very impressive in its strip-center setting, but this is where you get some of the best haircuts in Austin. My hair is not easy to cut, and I am very picky. No other salon in Austin has given me a truly good haircut more than once. Li, the current owner at the Split End beauty salon, has never given me a bad one! Can't say enough good things about this place.…
My Experience. Form your own opinions, this is simply facts about me and what I experienced. I went in with a picture of a specific hairstyle which including dying my hair blonde. I received highlights and was told to come back later to get my hair corrected. I did come back requesting a refund because I did not want my hair colored after the first experence. They refused to refund my money saying they do not give refunds. So I stayed and paid extra for my hair to be corrected from the first mistake made. Bleach was left on my hair for three hours and now my hair is dead nearly to the roots. I had beautiful medium-long brunette hair and now it's gone. Split ends, frayed; I'm left with about one inch of healthy hair I believe. This is only facts from my prior visitation with this salon.…
