la Madeleine
French cuisine, specialty coffees, wines and pastries are available at this chain eatery..
In Short
Hardwood floors, tables and chairs scattered in front of a fireplace; the decor is reminiscent of a French countryside cottage. Orders are placed at the front counter and brought to the table. Full breakfast, lunch and dinner menus are available; however, patrons are invited to come just for a glass of wine or cup of coffee. No meal would be complete without trying the strawberries Romanoff--fresh strawberries topped with brandy cream sauce.
Best tomato basil soup. Yes, this is just like the other locations. Food is excellent. I'm still stuck on the tomato basil soup though. Man that is great stuff!!!!
I love this restaurant!. My sister and I are addicted to La Madeleine's! We always go and eat the chicken friand or the quiche and ALWAYS a bowl of the tomato basil soup. It doesn't get any better than the tomato basil! Addiction! There's nothing I would change. You can eat for about $10 a person and there's no wait when you eat off the line. My husband ordered something from the back and it didn't take long at all and we were there during the lunch hour. The service is always friendly and courteous and there's always a manager around, rather than in the back. Oh yeah, Yes, lwe leave a couple dollars on the table for the busser.
Bad Service. I placed an order for a Croque monsieur, the order was lost in the shuffle. It took a hassle to get my food, and when I finally got my food it was not hot.
One of my favorite places to go with friends!. I absolutly love this place. The Tomato Basil is amazing and I have always had great service.
Ooh la la ~~~. I love this place. My husband and I visit often as we can. It has very comfortable setting and the food is very good. The pastries aren't that great but the bread is good.
