Staff makes the cut, but the food does not.
All the Luby's restaurants generally have a staff that aims to please. But what happened to the great quality that Luby used to be associated with? Everyone I knew in the 80's said that Luby's blew Furr's away. Back then, I agreed. Now, I think all that food tastes like it is processed and everything was kept in a can in some dark, dank buildling for years. I don't need a preview of how food will taste after nuclear fallout, thank you.
And for four vegetables and some bread, they now have the nerve to charge almost $7. I can open a can at home! Progresso soups beat what I can get here and I don't have to wait in a long line with idiots who don't know what they want.. So, thank you Luby's. I know cook at home much more. It's much better, cheaper, and healthier!
