I recently completed a purchase of a Z4 as an anniversary present for my wife. The experience started with an internet quote. My wife is ecstatic about the car...ride, handling, appearance, features. I wouldn't know since she won' let me drive it. I can speak about the sales experience, however. The sales staff responded quickly to my quote request, was very knowledgeable when we met, and never tried to play the sales games other dealerships seem to feel obligated to play. He was very flexible adjusting his schedule to fit our needs and met with us on very short notice to close the deal (taking up a good chunk of his day). The only gripe I have is the congested complex of buildings and parking lots...very hard to maneuver. I would sure would like to see them move to a more spacious facility that's commensurate with the reputation of the car they sell.

We were very happy with our purchase experience with Troy Massey at BMW of Austin. He is SIMPLY GREAT!!! We went to Troy at BMW after visiting a few other dealers for cars of similar category. Apparently Troy made the day for us. We really appreciate his knowledge, experience, patience and warm-heart! We have bought a few cars from different dealers in the past. Troy is THE BEST!!!

I just purchased a new 328i from BMW Austin and Troy Massey. Overall my experience was excellent. Needless to say, the car is awesome, but the buying process was very well done - low pressure and extremely helpful. I had a particularly challenging situation regarding the title on my ancient trade-in, and Troy and the finance manager really worked with me to minimize the hassle of a potentially painful situation. I will also say, if you go to Austin BMW for a test drive, ask for Troy. As a career marketing executive, I can tell you that few times have I experienced a brand translated so purely from awareness to product demonstration. His demo script should be copied by all BMW sales people.

Great experience from beginning to end. Jay Lafolette worked hard on a Saturday to ensure my wife and I were taken care of. There was no haggling and Jay gave me what my trade in was worth. Being in sales myself and having done quite a bit of research on the car ahead of time, I was prepared for a negotiation. Nope. As Jay left to get the keys I looked at my wife and said "Wow that was easy. I can't believe we are done"!

Since driving off the lot Jay has been diligent in following up and checking in. He is a great relationship builder. He sells 'em "one at a time". When I am ready for my next Beemer I am going back to Jay.

Great buying experience. Thank you Jay and BMW Austin!

Terrible buying and service experience at BMW of Austin. Purchased a 2012 BMW X5M from BMW of Austin back in August 2011. Originally came in July 2011 for a Space Gray/Black X5M. My Client Advisor at the time said there was one in production allotted to another dealer and can get it in 2 weeks. Upon arrival their was a door ding (Caused during PDI) and a paint defect on the hood. Using a Paint meter i found out the hood was repainted. I brought this to the attention of my Client Advisor and the Sales manager was very rude denying that the hood was repainted. I cancelled this order. A few days later i decide to give them another chance. We order a silverstone Metallic/Black Fully loaded X5M to be finished by mid August. When this one arrives we add the Ventureshield and Radar per our original agreement. I get a call from their vendor who installs the ventureshield that their is a defect near the side turn signal. There is also a paint defect on the bumper itself. They take it to their body shop to "touch up" these areas. After a couple of months (1,000 miles on the odometer) the side turn signals originally touched up became loose. When they removed them they scratched the fender. They kept the car for two weeks and gave me a crappy bare bones 3 series loaner. The car was very dirty when i picked it up outside. I did not want a brand new car with paintwork. I asked for a Trade-In appraisal on the car and they were not interested in purchasing the car. The used car sales manager was rude when i requested the appraisal. I had to sell the car on my own. Their loss ive purchased many luxury cars and even had a 2012 BMW M5 on order but canceled it. I also had intent to purchase many more cars from them. My Client Advisor seemed not to care during the whole sales process and the fact i will no longer be doing business with them. Not up to standards of other tier one luxury brands that i have owned. Great way to treat a customer who buys a $100K+ vehicle.

I have been driving BMW's for 30 years and I have to say Larry Stenson, Chris Markey and the rest of the BMW of Austin team are the very finest I've ever encountered, no pressure, honest approach, superb customer service. In addition, I have had my BMW serviced at BMW of Austin for 8 years and I have always left completely satisfied. Scott Liedtke and the staff have consistently provided outstanding service and quick turn around time. As far as I'm concerned its The best BMW dealership in the country and I have dealt with many- from D.C. to L.A!

Ask for Troy Massey. Best car buying experience ever especially if you are taking the kiddos with you. Terrific experience so far.

This was 1 of 7 dealerships we visited; the experience was hands down superior -- in getting questions answered, seeing models and options, taking a 2nd test drive, following up on this or that, dealing with a trade in. You name it, they get the best marks as a dealership as does Larry Stenson who sold us the car (and continues to answer questions in email long after he closed the deal). Next new car? No shopping around; we'll go straight to Larry.

I recently bought my second BMW from Jay Lafolette at BMW of Austin. After my first purchase in 2007 and five years of dealing with BMW-A, I did not even consider another brand or another dealership. Jay and BMW-A are in a league of their own and consistently and continuously provide me with the most professional and pleasant experiences of any of the businesses that I encounter.
