excellent resource for precious metals investment. Brian had silver rounds, @ 50 cents over spot, when other shops had only small amounts. I was trying to get $1000 worth to avoid sales tax. Brian included some fractional ounce gold coin to meet the limit. one of these was a cool 1897 half eagle liberty which he sold for a small percentage over spot price.

Another time he topped off a purchase of silver rounds w/ a few mexican Libertads, no extra charge. (They' cost more than generic rounds.) The store has lots of cool coins for the numismatic collector,and a bulletin board for sellers. The price on Kruggerands, Eagles, and sovereigns was good as well.

They buy coin and bullion as well, you can swap gold for silver if you wish.

So if you're trying to protect your savings w/ tangible asssets or filling in the gaps in your collection.the Village Coin shop is a good resource and they've many years of experience to assist you with.

Friendly. The Village Coin Shop was very friendly store. Two older men were working the store when i went in to sell half of my coin collection. We chated about the history of gold and gold coins while they apraised my collection. They had very fair prices and overallit was a great experience. The only bad thing is that their hours are a bit lax. They are open mon-thurs 10-5.
