Really disappointed.
I was never actually able to get a haircut. I have avoided going to Ulta because I have heard so many bad things about their salon, but because they were running a deal for first time customers, I
decided to give it a try.
They advertise all over the place that walk-ins are welcome. So today when my schedule magically opened, I rushed down there, which is a good 25 minute drive.
Unfortunately when I got there, they only had one person on staff, and he was completely booked.
If they are going to advertise that walk-ins are welcome, they should at least make an attempt to staff enough people to support that advertisement.…
Drugstore, beauty-supply shop and a full-service salon wrapped into one..
In Short
Selling everything from Q-tips and nail-polish remover to Elizabeth Arden cosmetics and ionic hair dryers, this shop is popular with beauty junkies. Offerings include fragrances,
hair-care products, OPI nail polish, bath and body essentials, workout DVDs and yoga mats. A selection of aromatherapy candles, massage creams, eye masks and more help you create a spa-like experience at home. The full-service salon offers services including cuts, colors, perms, facials, manicures, pedicures and waxing.…
Horrible service. I have rarely experienced such a snobby staff !!!! They literally talk "down" to you and then seem almost annoyed to help you. Most of them look like they're still in high school and can barely utter an intelligent sentence. Save yourself the trouble and go anywhere else!…
Bad Customer Service. Talking about customer service, the ULTA at research has not learnt the true art. Stop herding your customers at check out lines and put a proper line in place. We are not here to adapt a new policy each time we come here. Lots of customers before and after us and including us were yelled at. It probably will save you some breathe and speed up the check out process by putting proper line signs. And customers will not be forced to walk in cycles from register to register. No wonder some shops are wondering how come the Christmas sale figure doesn't go up.…
Beware of waxing!. Some services may be fine, but I know of two people (me included) who were badly injured getting eye brow and/or other facial waxes. Their technicians need additional training!
