Angelica - Best Stylist EVER. Angelica has been cutting my hair since 2004. I followed her to Luxe from Avant. She always does an amazing job with my hair. Not only does it look great when I leave the salon, but it looks great when I style it myself and continues to look great while it grows for 8 weeks between cuts. She gets to know your hair and provides advice and ideas that will work for you individually. Also, she is funny, which doesn't hurt when you are spending an hour of time with her.

Go see Mariana!. I have been going to Mariana for over 6 years. She was my first colorist and the only person I would trust with my color. I can just tell her what I am in the mood for and she always picks the most complimentary and beautiful shades for highlights. She is personable, and treats you with respect. If you want a wonderful, relaxing experience with one of the sweetest ladies, go see Mariana!

Mariana is the best!!. I've been seeing Mariana for about four years now, ever since I moved to Austin. And no matter what I've done to my hair, she can fix it. I wouldn't let anyone else color my hair if they paid me. And I never have to tell her what I need. She knows exactly what to do for my hair type, face type, and for the season. AND she does haircutting, too!! Which I don't think she's advertised as much, but she is just as amazing at cutting as she is coloring. I've never been sooo happy with my hair or felt so sexy.

Plus, Luxe has great service along with complimentary coffee, water, and fresh-baked chocolate cookies.. what more could a girl ask for?

excellent haircuts & waxing. I used to get my hair cut by Angelica when she was at Avant, and made the mistake of switching stylists to save some money. I returned to her earlier this year and feel that it's worth it to pay $70 for someone who does an excellent job with my wavy/curly hair. She does great highlights as well.

Also, Amanda does a super job at waxing and always puts me at ease with her kind demeanor. And the staff is always friendly - even though the clothes in the store are too expensive for me, they don't have a superior attitude.

Mariana is my saviour. I waited almost 3 years to color my hair again.The last time I went to a Hair person did a really bad job.I can't tell you enough good things about Mariana,she is the best color specialist and I highly recomend her!!!

I look 5 years younger thanks to her. She choosed my color and I can tell she is an expert in her field.

WOULD TRAVEL MILES...LITERALLY. I heard about Luxe all the way back in Alabama and when I got to travel to Austin for business I immediately booked an appointment with Michi. She was so patient with me while I decided what I wanted and helped me pick what would be most flattering for me. She helped me find the least expensive options and spared no detail in explaining what would work best for me. I will be making more trips to Austin for her services!

I FOUND THE COLOR QUEEN. First, I must say i am far from young; however, after my experince at Luxe the way i looked, my energy level, and interactions with others did not betray my age, not that I'm over the hill or anything either. my enlighting experince became possible after, a coversation with an aquaintance. I had expressed my dismay with yet another stylists attempt at coloring and styling my hair. I have only been satisfied a handful of times i might add. This saintly aquaintance prompted me to to try a highly praised and adored stylist by the name of TERESA A.K.A. T BABY. My disbelief was great, but i had nothing to lose, and lord knows this was not my first attempt at my quest to find " my stylist ". I felt hopeful only when I entered Luxe's door. The charisma only grew as i made my way to the holy grail of stylists' chair. Before I even had my hair cut i knew my quest was over. Teresa had me at hello. I was instantly greeted with an amazing personality and aura of greatness. After a little easy conevrsation, I was comforted with the news of her massive experince and knowledge of her trade. The energy that flowed from her and her coworkers made time seem to fly by. Before I knew it I had before me the best coloring of my LIFE ! I have just come from my fourth, I can only call it an, experince. This is no fluke,I fell compeled to spread word of this treasure while she can still be found at Luxe. Teresa is the truth, the holy grail of stylists and Luxe is pretty close to a heaven for women. I am not alone either, I have spoken to others and we are agreement this women is practicaly a national treasure! If one is ever looking for a colorist of the highist caliber or perhaps an uplifting experince teresa is the one to see ! I have heard, seen, and felt it I can truely attest that I have found a person of great skill and passion for her work i can think of no greater attribute for a professional to have. Luxe is a great salon, who knows what you may find, what do you have to lose?

Super friendly. I was walking around the Domain late last Saturday afternoon (Nov 8) and decided to stop into Luxe Apothetique. I was quickly pleasantly surprised by the service I received. While many of the people who work at the Domain have an arrogant aire about them, every staff person immediately made me feel welcome! All the girls were ready with a genuine smile and eager to help, but not pushy at all, and they were quick to answer any questions I had. And because I felt so relaxed I ended up spending quite a bit of money there, and only there. The staff did a great job, and has definitely won my repeat business. - even coming all the way from South Austin.
