You Have to Visit THE KATY HOUSE!!. I recently went to The Katy House for a weekend get away,and had a wonderful time. The house was beautiful, and breakfast was out of this world! I enjoyed visiting with the owners Sallie and Bruce, and their sweet dogs as well.

Our FAVORITE B&B. They have been in business for over 10 years. Great rooms, with private baths, and one block from Main Street.

If you like antiques, and historic homes you will love the Katy House. Two dogs, William and Buddy live in the 5 bedroom B&B. The breakfast is wonderful, and the rooms will want you to return again and again. We have gone to Smithville for our anniversary for the last 4 years. Hope Floats was filmed in Smithville.

Prettiest home. We love to come to the Katy House to get away from the big city. So relaxing to swing on the front porch swing- it makes us want to take a nap- which we usually do. The owner's dogs are so friendly and they welcome guest dogs, too. There is always a delicious breakfast at the Katy House. Our favorite is the jalepeno cheese grits and baked french toast.
