In Short
This is the largest space in the six-venue UT Performing Arts Center, yet the farthest seat is only 154 feet from the stage. The house can accommodate a 1,733-member orchestra, and it's considered to have the best acoustics in town. If the touring company of a Broadway show or an internationally known orchestra or dance group comes to Central Texas, this is where it plays. Season schedules have included Gladys Knight, Jerry Seinfield and the ABBA-powered hit "Mamma Mia."
