Here's the BUZZ about Zach Scott's Spelling Bee!. We tried to go see Spelling Bee in NYC last November, but the stage hand strike prohibited that. Glad to say we missed it, because Austin's Zachary Scott Theatre Center couldn't have done a better job! What a darling play! All of the actors were great and the entire evening was just a delight! My husband works for the Austin American Statesman, and he'll definitely be blogging about it! What a special show!

Editorial Review. Artistic director Dave Steakley's company offers eight to 10 plays a season, crossing genres to include classics, avant-garde and musicals.

Twisted Olivia!!. I just saw Twisted Olivia at Zachary Scott Theatre and it is the most original thing I've seen in this city. It's good to see a theatre can go from a well known show like HAIR to a new and original play like Twisted Olivia. Keep up the good work Zachary Scott. Everyone should see this play.
