IT'S CLOSED!. I am new to the San Marcos area and just wanted a place to watch the Cubs/Astros game after class, drink a beer, and eat a burger. I googled this place and it sounded like a sure fire way to enjoy the game. After class, I start looking for it! Asked 5 different people and they kept telling me the same place. I finally gave up after an hour and sat down at a bar, forgot about the burger, drank a beer and watched the last inning of the game...

The bartender informed me that TABC shut them down! I was not a very happy camper, especially after having broke a sweat looking for it.

San Marcos' premier sports bar.. In Short
This is a popular hangout for local sports stars and fanatics, ranging from boxers to golfers. It has all the sports channels you can think of on eight large TVs and one wall screen. The Draft Choice also hosts pay-per-view closed cable television events on occasion. The room is wild and rowdy for playoffs, boxing matches and bowl games. Happy hour is 5pm to 8pm every day and there's no cover for those over 21.
