Austin >Clothing > Renaissance Market
Handmade jewelry and tie-dyed clothing right across from UT..
The market is open to all artisans with the rule that the one who sells must be the same one who creates the goods. Once a month, the parks and recreation department gives permits to jewelry and tie-dye artists, candle makers and batik specialists. They set up makeshift shops across from campus where 23rd Street intersects with Guadalupe. Pretty baubles and one-of-a-kind gifts made by the one these artisans are a Guadalupe Street tradition.
