In Short – The market is open to all artisans with the rule that the one who sells must be the same one who creates the goods. Once a month, the parks and recreation department gives permits to jewelry and tie-dye artists, candle makers and batik specialists. They set up makeshift shops across from campus where 23rd Street intersects with Guadalupe. Pretty baubles and one-of-a-kind gifts made by the one these artisans are a Guadalupe Street tradition.
