Stacy Park runs along East Side Drive from the large swimming pool at the south end to the wading pool and recreation area at the north end. The pool has been around since it was built by the Works Progress Administration in the 1930s and is popular with lap swimmers. There's enough run and bike trails to wear out the joggers and their dogs.

This is a great lap pool. If you prepare you can jog at Town Lake straight to the back area of this pool and finish your outdoors work out with a refreshing swim.

The Extras:
Tables can be found throughout the length of the park, and if you can't finish your lunch, there's usually a squirrel around that will be happy to help you out.
Know Before You Go:
During the week, the pool is reserved from 6am to 8am for adult lap swimming.
