Horrible bar, Bartender took a swing at me. I went to The Library and the service was horrible! When I went to pay my tab the bartender didn't agree with the tip I gave him and broke my drink, spilling it all over my jacket and cutting my hand. When I confronted him about this he "adjusted" my friends tab to well over double the original amount. I would not recommend this place to anyone!

Snobby bouncers. Ok so I was bar hoping with my friends for my birthday and so we decided to go to the Library. We go there all the time and have never had any problems until this day. So my friend couldn't get in because her id had expired and so I met her at the door so that I could say hi. I told the bouncer that I was going to say hi 2 a friend and that I was going to be standing right by the door. He said that it was cool. I was literally standing 2ft away from him and he was watching me. So when I tried coming back in he said that I couldn't go back in. He all of a sudden didn't remember me and said that i was trying to sneak in. I was so p.off that all of a sudden he had amesia and didn't remember me. I then passed right by him and told me that he was going to tell the bartenders not to serve me and I told him to F*** off so his other friend came after me and asked what the problem was and i told him what had happend. He believed the other bouncer and I was forced to leave. So don't go to this place and ask to go outside for a minute because all of a sudden they forget that you are right in front of there face. And if you even try to go back in they will thing that you are trying to sneak back in. Such a-holes!!!!!!

It's a bit of a boys' club, but girls are always welcome at this clubby downtown bar.. In Short
The long room, all wood and brass and spaciousness, is often filled with frat boys, past and present. They congregate upstairs to play pool or mill about downstairs, chatting with the barkeeps under a row of very cool mechanized fans. If you're a girl looking for a hookup, this is the place to go. Weekends are full of those eager to show off their letters; whereas, weeknights are sparsely populated with older professionals.

Great bar for tossing back a few. The Library is one of my favorite 6th street bars. Drink specials every night, and tons of great looking women.

My choice. This is my bar of choice whenever we go downtown. Which also is my friends first choice! My guys don't have much to look at but my girls and I do. It also helps to know one of bartenders from high school, which is a total hottie! It's a good place to go and play pool, drink, and meet people. I always have a good time whenever I am there!
