Hello, My name is Kelly and I work at MY Envy Salon. I will say since the owners took over the salon back in July of 2012 with a new staff has been a big turn over for the salon and clients are much happier now. We have many great talents and services to offer. We no longer do mani/pedi just Hair, Make Up, Waxing and Spray Tanning. Please call and make an appointment today and leave feeling great inside and out
Wonderful experience. We bookied hair and make-up appts. for my daughter and the bridal party prior to her wedding. Not only did alll the girls look amazing, we felt very relaxed and at home at the salon. We had about 20 people there for several hours and we were able to have lunch and relax while waiting on everyhone to finish. It was a great experience for a special day. The hair stylist and make-up artist could not have been more fun and accommadating to our large group. It was a great place to spend time with our friends and family on my daughters special day. We loved it. Thanks!!
Mani & Pedi Review :(.
After spending some time at Envy I wold rather not be Envied.
I bought a main/pedi combination groupon cupon. It seemed like such an amazing deal. WoW! I was disappointed.
Unfortunately while the salon is set up for hair styling there are no proper chairs or recliners for the manicure and pedicure. After almost two hours my pedicure was finally complete. Time did not equal quality. Not only were there minimum colors to select from, my nails did not remain chip free.
I was excited because the website advertises long lasting nails for 14 days. What a dream come true.
Unfortunately the Envy treatment was not a dream. When I tried to discuss the matter with the owner, I belive his name is Ray, he became aggitated.
Though I am back to square one with finding a place for main and peidi's in the Round Rock area, I am excited to try out new places. Moving forward from Envy with a smile on my face!
Let Down.
Although tried on line booking I did not get a response.
Went in and made an appointment.
Went in for a manicure and pedicure combo. The results were horrible.
The environment is nice. The atmosphere also nice.
The salon is however not really equipped for manicures and pedicures. It took almost an hour and a half for my nails to dry and the pedicure was not any quicker.
I would not recommend the manicures and pedicures. Too much time and is not worth the money.
Nice environment though.
Passing through and stopped. VERY PLEASED!. Glad old staff isn't there anymore as they were toxic. I go through there on my way for business and heard that there was a new staff there, so I stopped and gave it a try. Good customer service, and gave me a sweet cut.
Fabulous Cut and Color.
I had my first apointment with Yendri and it will not be my last. She did a great job on my color and took what had been a terrible, botched haircut and made it look really good. She listened to what I wanted and delivered a 10+.
She was AWESOME.
Sjofca,
Thank you for visiting us here at Envy! Yendri comes to us from VA. She's highly trained in all aspects of the beauty industry and served many politicians and governors as clients in the Virginia area!
We look forward to seeing you again in a few weeks!
Sincerely,
The ENVY TEAM
I found the stylist that left!!!.
Anyone looking for Irene, Stacie, or Julie? I found them!!!

Julie Has Moved. Hello all. I just wanted to let everyone know I am no longer at Envy Salon. It was a great year and I hope the best for the salon, it was just my time to move on. If anyone is looking for me you can contact me at 512.870.7914. Best to wishes to all.
Love Envy Salon!. I am so thrilled with my hair that I just had to write a review. I moved to Austin 2 and a half years ago from NY, and still hadn't found a hairstylist that met my expectations. That is, until I found Jill at Envy Salon. I'm not one for big changes and I can be very reluctant. I told Jill that I wanted a change and didn't want to be one brassy blonde mess anymore. She talked me through a game plan, and gave me highlights and low lights, with side swoopy bangs and long layers. I can't tell you how many compliments I've gotten! Jill you ROCK! I loved the ambience of the salon as well (the glass of wine was nice too :) ), and all of the staff were great! It was a tad more than I usually pay, (which is why I didn't give 5 stars) but well worth it. It was just a great day of pampering, and I will definitely be back! Highly recommend!
Misleading: Pretending to be upscale when AVERAGE.
I do not take too many days off. I was very excited to get a day for me, away from work and hustle of the children. Since Envy Salon is located near my home, I decided to treat myself.
Although it was difficult to understand the gentleman on the phone, I believe he may be the owner, I set an appointment for conditioning, full color and highlights.
I am accustomed to Chicago salons and grew up in Europe. When a salon is advertising as high end, that is what I expect.
The interior is charming if not really high end and more on the cheap Ikea side. It was initially difficult to relax as I was constantly asked a lot of questions, mainly about purchasing products.
Although it is nice to be offered a drink, wine at 11am is a little too much, especially for someone, who, like myself, has a sensitive stomach.
I am accustomed to going into a hair salon and automatically receiving robe, slippers, having my jacket and purse taken care of, that is high end. No such service here.
My stylist was behind with time and I had to wait for 20 minutes. Were the seating more comfortable and the waiting area more conducive to I doing work I would not mind waiting. Furniture however is very uncomfortable. There was also a lot of talk and noise going on in the back, I am not sure what was going on.
My stylist was very cute however being very young, did not have a lot of experience. In this industry it is essential to keep up with the latest trends, not just for TX but to know what is happening in NYC, Europe and around. Unfortunately my stylist was not well versed on the current fashion of the day.
Customer Service at Envy is not high end. It is a fine salon however why try to be something that one is not. The salon really is a nice family salon. One that is good for touch up but not a place to go for relaxation and a special occasion. It is a step above the traditional super cuts. If looking for high end, ladies skip this place and go to a full service salon known for pampering...in fact skip ENVY, if you want average go to a Fantastic Sam's to save money.
For a real treat, my suggestion: The Salon at the Domain...they are even open seven days a week and as opposed to promoting products they care about their needs of their clients!!!!
