In Short – Located in a sprawling shopping center, the restaurant draws folks working and living in the area. The interior uses neutral colors and textures to its advantage, with flax curtains, paper lamps and multitoned wood creating a natural ambience. A well-stocked liquor bar, sushi bar and two dining areas offer several choices. All the usual sushi offerings are here, plus some creative choices like the tiger-eye roll--smoked salmon, cream cheese and rice punctuated by jalapeno.
good food, reasonably priced, good service

I have not had a bad meal here and have been dining here regularly, at least once/month, since about 2001.
They do need to be a bit more flexible with regard to seating policy, however, there have been times when I arranged to meet friends there when it was not at all busy-- many, many empty tables- yet they refused to seat us until all were present. I can understand that at peak times, but not when the place is practically empty.
- Pros: see headline
- Cons: seating policy

Not on the meenu:
Spicy Carlos is to die for! Susan is a close second. Yaki Maki takes at least 20 minutes but it is wonderful: California roll topped with crab and scallop and a cheese topping then broiled until warm. Awesome!
Bentos for lunch are really good. I recommend the beef.
Miso is good. Edamame is good. Rice is sticky with a hint of vinegar. Perfect sushi spot. My family an I really enjoy it time and time again.
Friendly wait staff.
- Pros: Spicy Carlos, Susan, and Yaki Maki.
- Cons: Tiny bit expensive
