Billing itself as a "natural apothecary," Sabia certainly lives up to the billing. This vaguely French-feeling Austin shop doesn't just carry a plethora of high end, nice smelling beauty brands (like Kiehl's and Dr. Hauschka), they have their own Sabia line of face and body products, as well as an on-staff aromatherapist who can mix up a special blend just for you.
Emily gives the FASTEST Brazilian in town!!. If you are in need of a super fast, quick and painless Brazilian, come see Emily. She will have you in and out in no time! Perfect for a lunchtime appointment. She ROCKS!!!
Best facials and products in town!.
I would rank Sabia's facials with Pam top notch in Austin. I've had facials with 'the best' in top metropolitan cities having lived all over and I find Pam's superior. When I lived here full time, I tested out a number of places and found myself going back to Sabia time and time again. She customizes her techniques to match the needs of your skin. I leaving glowing everytime I get a facial with her. I, specifically, make it a point to book a facial with her when in from NYC!
I LOVE Sabia's products as well. My favorites are the Infused Beauty salt scrubs and aromotherapy oils.
Great Service!. Besides the beautiful interior and wide assortment of great products, Sabia has a very friendly feel and outstanding service. Pam Crawford in particular does a great job and is a real treat to spend time with; friendly, smart, funny and very professional.
what a treat!. This place not only has an impressive selection of skin care and body lines, it also has such a knowledgeable staff. I had one of the best shopping experiences because I was offered so much information, explanation, and samples. I left feeling better than I did when I went in. I also booked a facial and a wax. When I went back for my treatments I was so pleased. The facialist Pam was wonderful- so friendly, professional, and just all around great. I had the best wax I have ever had, and I m very picky! No irritation or redness due in part to the post was treatment. And during the facial she gave me a foot and hand massage, which I thought was such a nice extra touch. I bought a new skin care regime that I knew would work since I had the opportunity to try everything at home first. I have found my new treatment and retail home. I will be a regular for life!!
Since 1994, this store has offered bath and face products and services that overwhelm at least two of your senses..
In Short
Sabia is the place to go to find elegant, aesthetically pleasing gifts such as delicate glassware and spa products, essential oils and aromatherapy. When you've figured out what all the brightly colored bottles and jars contain, pick out an aromatherapy candle, oil lamp or some sumptuous incense to take home. For those who can't wait, Sabia also offers spa services like acupucture, waxing, massages peels and facials.
Unique and fun. I get my eyebrows and facials done by Sabia's esthetician, Meg, and she does a fantastic job. The floor staff at Sabia is friendly and has excellent product knowledge. Parking is easy and the atmosphere is great.
French Pharmacy in Texas. This place is amazing! I brought my visiting sister in here and we spent 90 minutes looking, smelling, testing. The woman in there was so knowledgable and gave us generous samples to take home. They have great skincare lines, soap, lotions, etc. but the best product in there is the oils. This is where I will be doing my Christmas shopping for everyone on my list.
