GREAT PLACE FOR LOCALS AND MUSIC. I LOVE GOING HERE SINCE ITS SO DOWN HOME ATTITUDE, GOOD PEOPLE AND ALLOT OF FRIENDLY NEW FACES, EVERYONE SEEMS TO KNOW EVERYONE AND INCLUDES NEW COMERS.

I WILL DEFINETELY GO BACK, ALLOT, ALLOT OF FUN, GOOD DRINK PRICES AND GOOD PLACE JUST TO HANG OUT.

Great local dive!. Everyone comes here in your in South Austin and just want to have drinks and chat. Great bartenders that remember your name and flavor of drink. Free pool 3 days a week, Texas hold'em tournaments, Golden Tee, music, live and selection, video trivia, etc. Old guy from Australia owns it - he drinks Bud if you wanna buy him a drink. Great place for drinks after a good meal of food.

A Good Dive. So this place is funny. It's kind of a dive, but is surprisingly entertaining. There is free pool on Sun, Mon, & Tues. There's a jukebox, ping pong, trivia games, and also karaoke on Thursdays (kinda lame). One night we came in and there was a reggae band! haha. Seemed a little out of place, but the band was good! It's also funny cuz the customers are so different! Any age from young to really old...bikers to giggly college girls.

In a neon-lit dream, Boomerz offers pool tables with bumpers, a small stage occasionally occupied by cover bands and colorful patrons who seem to walk straight out of Texas legend. It's not uncommon to see cowboy hats mixed in with college students in their best Saturday night threads. With a tall mixed drink or an old reliable beer in hand, it's easy to strike up conversations and rustle up a game of pool.
