Country quiet and hospitable innkeepers..
The Scene
A wide front porch welcomes visitors to this bed-and-breakfast that is named for the owners' last home in Blackburn, England. Views of the Hill Country and the north shore of Lake Travis make it a peaceful option when visiting the area. The property is located about 40 minutes outside Austin. Golf, tennis and lake activities can be found in the immediate area.
The Details
This B&B offers only two guest rooms. They are appropriately nicknamed the Queen and King, thanks to their respective bed sizes. Both rooms are situated in a guest wing and have private baths and their own entryway off the porch. Displaying white walls and pine furniture, the rooms are sunny and bright. Guests can relax atop their quilt-covered bed and enjoy a British comedy borrowed from the inn's video library.
