Our Trainer was great!. Alicia did a great job with my dog and with the others in the class. Lots of positive motivation and rewards, while still earning the respect of your dog. She helped us to understand different factors that influence a dog's behavior. She also gave many good pet care tips. I couldn't be more pleased. I highly recommend Alicia and Triple Crown Dog Academy.…
One on One Training.
We contacted Triple Crown to inquire about their training for our Lab as well as boarding options.
We were told about the "in kennel training (IKT) program and they recommended we met with a trainer for a one on one session with Kevin to address a current leash issue we were having with our lab.
We drove out there, met with Kevin and I must say that the 30 to 45 minutes he spent with us and our lab was priceless. Kevin was professional, very easy to talk to and our lab loved him. He had her walking on a leash without pulling within 5 minutes of starting training. His instruction was excellent, ensuring I was learning as well and could go home and continue training with confidence.
We toured the facility which was very clean and everyone we met was great. We have both our dogs booked for the 2 week in kennel training program in May and will write another review once they have completed that program to share how it went.
I have seen many reviews about the customer service being poor and wanted to share my experience. There were two girls at the front desk, one was excellent (one who made my reservations) while the other gave the impression she wanted to be anywhere but at work (she was arranging for my tour). She wasn't rude to me, just didn't seem to care about the customer's time too much.
Overall, those who were important to our experience that day were awesome and personally, we were treated great. There is always one in every crowd no matter where you go, however, the other staff were quick to step in and ensure our experience was great.
We are excited about the training program and if it is anything like the one on one sessions, our dogs will have a blast, receive some great training and will be be worth every penny.
See you in June with an update!
It is now June and we just picked up our lab yesterday from training. Kevin did a wonderful job with her and I can now take her for walks without any problems. In addition, she has learned to stay in place in the house, something she has never done. This is a wonderful thing as we wanted so much to be able to have her enjoy the home with us as one big family.
Our lab LOVED Kevin and was so happy when we saw her. She was well taken care of and in great spirits and it was obvious she had a great vacation and enjoyed every minute of her time at Triple AAA.
We will be using them from now on for all our boarding needs as well as all our training needs for our lab. I can't recommend them highly enough!!!

Manager's Response. So often people will hide behind the internet and post comments that they would not otherwise say face to face to the person or company. What is troubling to say the least is the FALSE allegations that get posted about individuals or organizations with little option but to either sit back and trust that observers will see the truth or to reply to misleading statements only extending credit to their comments. As the General Manager, I can take critism and even personal attacks about me but what I can not accept is an outright falsification of service or events that did not happen implicating my hard working, dedicated staff who treat each dog in our care as a member of our family. I encourage any client to call me 512-759-2275 with any concerns, especially if we failed to exceed their expectations. Furthermore, I welcome an opportunity to provide any dog owner seeking professional dog boarding or training a personal tour of our facilities and our daily operations and let you determine if Triple Crown can enhance your relationship with your dog through our quality care and education. - John Woods, General Mgr. Triple Crown Boarding. I trusted Triple Crown to take care of my pet and came home to a DEAD dog and over $3000. in vet bills! When I flew home I went there to pick up my dog's belongings. "They" were having problems locating her things and said it was because they couldn't remember what kennel number she was kept in! When they finally found her things they were there in exactly the way I left them 7 days before. The sleeping blanket still folded, her cans of dog food and her chew toys and treats still all there. Obviously NEVER given to my dog. And they actually charge extra if you bring your own food! When I went to management to get more details on what happened to my dog they said well, she hadn't been eating or drinking but that's perfectly normal for some dogs when they are boarded! Yey they didn't feel it was necessary to call me about this behavior! They were having a hard time remembering what had happened because there were two yellow pitbulls boarded there and they were "confused!" They finally told me they would pay the vet bills for me and to come back tomorrow to pick up the check. When I returned the next day the manager took me into his office and said they were NOT going to pay any of my vet bills because it was my fault that the dog died because I was a BAD owner and didn't take care of my dog properly. There's more but let me close with this... I went to a lawyer and he said I definitely had a case but that the best I could recover wouldt be the "dollar value" I paid for my dog. Since I adopted her from a rescue that would be only $60! I am a senior and live on a fixed income and could not afford to pursue the matter any further. I hope anyone who reads this will think real hard before leaving their pet there especially over Christmas/New Years holiday when the staff is more concerned with celebrating while my holiday was spent grieving.…
Triple crown dog training. Took my saint bernard Cooper there for a month for training. I was very pleased and impressed! He rulled the house before taking him to triple crown. He came back a different dog. Thought his training would wear off after a while but happy to say a year later cooper is still very well behaved and still listens to his commands. Its a bit pricy but totally worth the money spent. Just got another saint bernard puppy and will be taking her to triple crown as well. The trainers and staff there are all wonderful! I had a great experience.…
