Formerly Laura's Bluebonnet Kitchen, the Austin Diner has kept much of Laura's decorative charm, including the cool '50s dinette tables and chairs, retro appliances, and round porthole windows. Casual yet funky, the diner affords a delicious, inexpensive breakfast to the slacker crowd that stumbles in each morning. Jake's pancakes are whipped up with cottage cheese, making them fluffy and moist. The vegetable plate features a trio of chunky mashed potatoes, black-eyed peas and lima beans.

PEOPLE FREINDLY. THE ENVIROMENT WAS NEATLY SET UP LIKE AN OLE' FASHON KITCHEN. IT WAS A UNIQUE IDEA ...THEY ALSO HAVE WIFI NICE TOUCH .. BREAKFAST WAS GREAT!!!

This, is one of my favorites places in Austin. Good omelets, delicious pancakes, excelent hamburguers, fresh coffe... You gotta go go there. 1 coffe cup. 1 Oscar's Taco Less than $5! (includes tips) Cheap, Deliciuos and fresh!
Pros: Ambience.
Cons: Seats!
