Great margaritas. Went here with some out of town guests... tasty margarita's (careful, they are very strong), service was knowledgable.. food ok but not as good as we had heard. Would return for margarita's and appetizers.
Purple Margaritas!!. Wow, the purple margarita made with everclear can really get you tipsy quick! Food here is terrible, but that one drink is so good! There is a two per person limit if that tells you how strong they are. Big ups to the purple!
You have to get a margarita. I am at BAby A's just about every Friday. The margaritas have got to be the best in the state. They are so good and pack a mean kick The purple is great but it will knock you out. The baby changa is my favorite as far as food goes. I would recommend it with cheese sauce instead of the avacado sauce. It comes with real fajita chicken meat in it. It's sooooo good.
Yum Yum to our tum tum.
I reccomend the Baby A's chicken soup!
This is what I always get from here!
My family has never complained about anything they have ordered.
can get very crowded, but I like the fact that they have the enclosed bar area, make for a nice family meal :)
the best for a Tex-Mex lunch. This location on IH-35 at Howard Lane is great for lunch. It's got enough seating to handle the crowds and the service is very speedy. Order the Baby A's soup combo, which is a ton of food for cheap - caldo de pollo with rice and your choice of taco, puffy taco, or salad on the side. The soup is loaded with chicken breast and avocado. Chopped cilantro, lime, and red onion make for an absolutely ambrosial broth. Ask for extra chipotle in the soup if you've got seasonal allergies or a cold - it'll fix you right up!
A casual Tex-Mex and Mexican eatery relying on Southwest staples and popular margaritas..
In Short
The pink-and-green exterior broadcasts the casual nature of this eatery. Several brightly painted dining rooms provide refuge in cooler months, but the patio is where couples, college students and large groups soak up the sunshine and the popular margaritas. Queso compuesto is a hearty mix of guacamole, chunky pico de gallo, seasoned ground beef and cheese. Catfish tacos get a cool kick from cilantro, avocado and tomatoes and are topped off with firm, sweet flan.
Yes. It's good baby!. Yes, I've been there many times with my girlfriends and we love the ambience, the drinks and the food.
Never Again!!!. After our LARGE party gleaned a table in the very crowded bar area, the pager goes off. We get to the front and the host explains, "I paged you accidentally." Our group (drinks in hand) had already lost our bar table! I ask why he didn't tell us of the mistake before we gave up our table. He replied "the restaurant's too big" to find us - a party of TEN PEOPLE!!! I asked that we get moved up on the list to compensate, but denied because "it was just a small mistake." The manager also declined to comp our drinks, because he said "It's against the law," a complete lie. Finally a supervisor offered the next available tables, but it was too little, too late. I wasn't about to give them a 10 person bill + tip when they could have done that initially and avoided the entire fiasco.
Tortilla Soup rules!. I have been going everywhere trying the tortilla soup and I have to say they have the best! Yummy margaritas and sangrias add to it. Cheap, too!
