Absolutely the best in sales and service. We purchased our first Miele vacuums from a company in California, and then we moved to Austin. When we purchased another condo, we decided to get another Miele and visited Longs. The price was great as we paid less than we did in CA. Also, we were so impressed with the information and assistance we received before the sale, as we found out so much about the vacuum that the previous store had not told us. We had some service issues with the first vacuum and found they were more than helpful to fix the issue. These people know their stuff and I can't imagine any better assistance from a retailer. I highly recommend Longs Vacuum here in Austin and wanted to share our experience with them.

the best. i started taking my vacuum to long's back in the 90's- i did not buy it from them but they repaired it for me and also told me if i ever wanted a new one they would take a trade. i eventually traded it for a riccar which i love and i have had for 6 years. they give their customers discounts and will do a tune-up on your machine. i had to bring mine in recently for some repairs (i'm hard on it) and they repaired it for a very reasonable price and were extremely meticulous and thorough. they are always friendly and just are a throwback to the days of real mom and pop service but with modern efficiency. they could have just tried to sell me a new machine but that's not their way. dont overlook them if you are going to buy a vacuum- you will not regret doing business with Long's!
