This posh downtown retreat combines aerobic and weight training equipment with pedicures and exfoliating.. In Short
To the left of the massive wooden service desk you'll find a comfortable bar where you can unwind with a beer after that intense workout. An immaculate gym lies just ahead, lit by skylights and set amid a stunning cityscape. Mecca offers the latest in Cybek machines and free weights, and with the exclusive nature of this gym, you're guaranteed a no-wait workout. Personal trainers are up for hire, and yoga classes are located below the gym.

An Oasis of Civility in Austin..... The place is truly beautiful, and the staff goes to any length to make you happy. Mecca has culled the personal trainers from the best gyms in town. They know the latest exercises and are truly inspirational. The aesthetics are unbelievable. For cardio buffs, you have your choice of watching your own personal TV or watching the happenings down on Sixth and Lamar. An hour of cardio has never gone faster for me. The Spa rivals any in Los Angeles or New York. Except instead of attitude, you get wonderfully pampered. I plan on having the special monthly treatment EVERY month to reward myself for the hard work in the gym.

Pricey? Maybe. But when you look at your results, and the ability to work-out in a beautiful setting with great support around, its worth it. Members also get a discount in the spa.

Its an incredible and magical place.

are you kidding?. $500 initiation fee + $125 for monthly dues? You better work out FOR me charging that kind of $

I'd gladly make a pilgramige. Mecca is beautiful, clean and relaxing, with a great location that's close to everything. The staff is nice and competent. Even the girls at the front desk are nice, unlike some other places (Bella).
