great deals. I have been going to this location for years. They have a great selection and I often find unique items. The staff is kinda rude sometimes, but they have been great about two different returns in the past. I've never sold to them because I've overheard rude comments made about the stuff people bring in such as"this dress is so tacky",etc..etc.. I give them 4 stars because you can find really neat stuff, they just need some better people skills.

Wasted my time. I would like to express my disappointment with the Once Upon a Child store in Oak Hill, Texas. I went to the store with my 3 month old child. I had some 0-3 month items I planned to sell. There was a rather long backlog of items to be priced. I was told they would get to me as soon as possible. I waited with my 3 month old for approximately 1 hour. My 3 month old was getting restless and the store employees saw me continue to walk around the store carrying him in his infant carrier, which after time can become quite heavy. I selected several items to purchase for my 2 year old son while I was waiting. When my name was finally called the employee told me they wouldn't be purchasing any of my items today, that they were being very selective with smaller, infant sizes.

Here is where my complaint lies. Why couldn't she have told me that earlier in the process and saved me and my 3 month old the time and hassle of waiting around for nothing? All the while the one employee was pricing item, another teenage employee was cleaning items, while another employee was standing by the one employee pricing item chatting. She was not going through items in advance to get an idea about what items they would be pricing. This step alone would have saved me 30 mins.

I have in the past raved about Once Upon a Child. I have told many people about the store and encouraged others to shop there. I will no longer be doing that or shopping there myself. I have become very disappointed in the service I have received recently and the quality of items for sale have gone down hill.

Once upon a child. I love this store! The customer service is great, Happy attitudes, meets all expectations and more. The buy policy is explained thoroughly, Great return policy. I dont know how anyone could dislike this store both locations are superb, although the North store is better in my opinion.

Terrible customer service. would never go back to this store. Mom comes in from Houston and brings clothes to Once Upon a Time. Been there several times. They have a stupid policy that drop off has to be same day to get $. Worse, they don't tell you the rules. Mom brought in a whole bag today only to come back 10 minutes later saying it was all rejected b/c they weren't folded properly. Could have told her that the first time she went in there. They give you like 10cents per item even some that I paid over $50 and had only been worn once so no stains at all. Just plain rude the people are in this store.
