I've had the pleasure of knowing Gaea Logan for almost a year. We originally met through the American Group Psychotherapy Association Conference held in New York City in March, 2012.

During our time together at AGPA Gaea was compassionate, empathetic, and highly skilled with group dynamics. While I'm highly appreciative of the work we did in New York, I've felt even more supported since the conference.

Gaea has become a mentor for me assisting me with networking, developing my clinical knowledge, while constantly making herself available to discuss other topics beyond individual and group psychotherapy. She is warm, engaging, and highly passionate about her work.

If you are looking for somebody to assist you in either your personal or professional growth, I would highly recommend Gaea. Her authenticity and therapeutic style makes her truly gifted and I'm honored to know her.

When I first met Gaea, I was leaving a different therapist who had deeply broken my trust, and I was uncertain that I could trust any other therapist again. In the process of interviewing 6 new therapists to see who I felt I could possibly work with, I found Gaea. I tested her over and over and over again, in various ways, and she was consistently solid, compassionate, patient, kind, and deeply insightful. One of her deepest strengths from which I have learned so much, is her capacity to repair. It is such a relief to know that I can be myself with her and know that she will hang in there with me, in whatever state I'm in, and see me through, even if I'm disappointed or angry with her. She's the therapists' therapist, and I feel incredibly lucky to have discovered her and have her as my supervisor.Without any hesitation I can say that I am a better person for having known her.

If you need a brilliant, empathic therapist or supervisor, Gaea Logan is the cream of the crop.

If you are looking for an experienced, compassionate, bright, hard-working, deeply informed, focused, warm, gifted therapist, then look no further than Gaea Logan. I've known Gaea for over 15 years, and I can confidently say she is an absolutely wonderful clinician, colleague and friend. Gaea's passion for the work she does, whether it's individual psychotherapy or fund-raising for an international human rights cause, is unwavering. I have known Gaea as a friend, colleague, and supervisor for over a decade. As most who know her can attest, she is brimming with vitality and compassion. I am a holistic, healthcare, provider and I network with various types of practitioners outside my

scope of practice. On occasion when working with a client I see the need to recommend additional

support from a licensed therapist, the one I trust the most is Gaea Logan. I have received great personal

benefits from her workshops. I have also participated in several fund-raising projects that support her

international humanitarian efforts in mental health. As a practitioner, when working in tandem with

Gaea I notice a faster response my clients. I have enormous respect for

her approach to mental health and emotional well-balance. When it comes to recommending the best,

I have worked with Gaea Logan for over three years. When I came to her I was experiencing overall anxiety, patterns of OCD, as well as social anxiety. Her combination of Buddhist compassion practices and the science of neuro biology give me lasting tools to manage my stress, and learn compassion for myself and others. I love her depth of knowledge in the area of neuro biology. It helps me have a deeper understanding of how my nervous system is wired and how to avoid up-regulating myself with redundant thoughts and stories. I am so grateful that she is not one of those therapists that take my money and just sits and listens to my ranting. Her techniques REALLY WORK. My life is very stressful, that I cannot change, but Gaea has taught me how to deal with those stressors and manage my nervous system so that I can function at the highest level. I am calmer, relaxed in social situations and more compassionate in my relationships. I have learned to be more aware of myself. My work with her has allowed me to experience a deeper more intimate connection with my relationships, both personal and professional. I’d recommend her to anyone who is seeking true healing. not a good review. I was amazed to see all of these excellent reviews. Gaea came highly recommended. I wanted to like her. I gave her a chance for several months because I trusted the person who made the referral. Gaea is very smart...if you don't believe me just ask her and she'll tell you. Many therapists will take time to listen and help you find your truth. Gaea is so confident that she will disdainfully tell you what your truth is...some of us who seek therapy do have some of our own insights, and don't want our feelings to be dismissed by someone rushing in with self-importance to make a judgment. After one particularly inaccurate and judgmental interpretation, I let her know she was unkind

and incorrect and she said she was just feeling protective

of me. She did not try to repair the hurt. She will talk

endlessly about neurobiology and the brain and

attachment but in my experience despite giving it time

her narcissism was so florid that it was impossible to

connect to her. Her fee is also higher than at least 95

percent of therapists in Austin, which would be fine with

me if the services merited the fee. My strong

recommendation would be to look elsewhere, I did and am now with someone twice as talented, smart and caring, who charges the going rate rather than notably higher than the average LPC as Gaea does.

I am so grateful to have Gaea Logan in my life. She opened the door for me to live with heart, without fear and distress.. Her skill has a level of insight that far surpasses expectations - she so knows the human conditions and all of its pitfalls. In addition to being a powerful healing resource here in town, she helps others around the world to heal from their traumas. She is the rock star of therapy!
